Music, like love, dear from the heart
Is such gift distinct to play part
In its sensuous role as an art
In building the soul to its start.
Music, like love, makes the world stark
With harmony to render spark,
Placing a wonderful mark,

Her hand I can no longer clutch
Her hand I can no longer clutch
Those languorous eyes I no longer see
Her limpid limbs I no longer touch
Her lover I can longer be
Capricious life has taken from me
The sweetest scent of sensuous life

Go to hell, ye critic who tries in vain,
A poet’s love-affair to unravel;
His sensuous sex details- to pry insane;
From his own poems composed, a marvel.
Remember thou, the poet’s a Creator!
