The shadow of uncreated creatures
Flickers in sleep,
Like palm fronds
On an enamel wall.
Violet hands
On the enamel wall
Drowsily sketch sounds
In the ringing-resonant silence.
And transparent kiosks,
In the ringing-resonant silence,
Grow like spangles
In the azure moonlight.
A naked moon rises
In the azure moonlight...
Sounds hover drowsily,
Sounds caress me.

042710c Somebody Has Better Plan
from the bridge i see fishes
as big as my palm swimming
going to the lake like parade
line up nose to fin; moves as unit
i wonder if they can see me
i bend over; oh! i dropp my pen
a splash; oh i drive them away
i wish i could swim with them there
with my diving suit, fins and goggles
pet them like in hanauma bay, hawaii
feed them on my palm like puppy
that would be neat, i guess i should
i look around there's a sign in blue
'no swimming, nature's reserve'

If I Had The Magic
IF I HAD the MAGIC
Melvin Banggollay
If I had the magic
In my old gentle palm
I'll offer to heal the sick
free of any alms
and I'll end every tragic
lost of lives to calm
agony of the weak
with prayers and psalm.
If I had the magic
Upon my pen's charm
I'll write many comics
to create an alarm
mankind needs medics
to heal all ills that harm
with love so strategic
to make all human palm

The Contest
Our palm designed to grow
In deserts, sent roots seeking far and wide
Channels where waters flow.
And in the city found
Intricate pipings where the waters flow
Imprisoned underground.
Since iron strength was nought
Against the clever groping fingers, meant
To find the thing they sought
Our palm's condemned to go;
While on through streets and houses at men's will
Rivers of crystal flow.
Be sad awhile. And then
Exult in visible beauty overthrown
By the fair will of men.

Just Before Leaving
Nice, I touched
your loneliness
softiest palm
induced its warm
on your beads
amazing shock
shrieked your glass
broken pieces
stabbed my foot
floor much colored
loved our nagging
you never told
pain is your touching
loneliness bugled
the chaos of clearing
sojourn my palm

Night Of The Dog
Shot in L.A. and
brought to Palm Beach,
the crew of this film
was peachy peach.
Funny film that
I did see, I photographed
the crew in W.Palm Beach
and at the hotel named
Gulfstream.
Now I have photos

Why
Tonight the earth will arrive like a gift
I promised I would send it by parcel force
You will hear that little clod on the carpet
As it falls through the slit in the door
Where I have been standing for so long
Waiting to be let in
Unlucky so many times before!

Man in hysterics
Poor Mom bought for him,
he has sold all to a second hand book-shop.
Algebra, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology,
McMilan's World Atlas and et cetera.,
He hurried to a Pub for a tranquilizer.
On his way he memorized the gypsy palm reader
who was at the book-maker's stall.
One day read his palm and told
'definitely you will be a professor in a college'.
After a few gulps, while he was returning home
passing the university,
all of a sudden shouted in the public
'where is the professor?
Oh! my poor mom's professor'.
to my friend Max Reif.

First Encounter - Najib Tun Razak
Najib Tun Razak
such big fat
palm
I stayed in Brickfields and never had I thought I would be at the same Indian restaurant with Najib the second day he was sworn in as Prime Minister. He had made it a priority to visit the Chinese and Indian sections of Kuala Lumpur to show his appreciation to the two communities. Everybody stood up when he entered the Kortumalai Indian Restaurant. When he shook hand with me, I suddenly realised that najib has such big fat palm. It is sign of prosperity for Chinese. Let's wish he could bring Malaysia to an era of prosperity.

Seascape Longing
Even though our block is larger now
We still relish the sand to the concrete
Skyscraper ways and bustling days
Leave us feeling, somehow, incomplete
The rhapsody of the shore beckons to us
The azure blue sea bids us to come
Palm trees wave at us in the gentle breeze
Tropical warmth summons from the sun
Lazy days of we beach combers arrive
Steeped in divine harmony thats only just begun
A most welcome repose for many and elusive rose
Far away from the concrete jungle-we run
Nestled 'neath the palm fronds shade
Comfey and cozy 'neath their home tree
Sun peeks through-from sky of cobalt blue
At last-my darling-'tis just you and me
