Quotes about cursing, page 9
What Happend?
what happened
to the dream of the dawn?
is it deferred
or it dried up
like a date-palm-nut in the desert sun?
I remember when you stacked your tongue out—
and the old man inside me became young again
the sun has not traveled half the golf course
it is only the quarter moon
what happened to the dream
that it howls a thousand torments
cursing the sky god
whose plea for mercy
raises more dust than buffaloes stampeding
my poem limps

Kanyakumari
'A confluence of body, mind and soul
At the confluence of the sister-seas
Who, the 'ladies-in-waiting' with the virgin Goddess
Abide calm, patient, tranquil with sobriety
Along a stretch of uncooked nature of a feed
Awaiting the pinky blush of the sun
In reawakened circles
With eye-bewitching dips in briny azury breeze.. '
The body, mind and soul anxious
Awaiting the celestial matrimony
The Lord and the Lordess to conjoin
In mere dreams of yonder bliss..
Eventuate will it
Ere the Lordess too, flung
Into the cluttered up stretch of a mortal method
And the sister-seas cursing in more havoc?

Songs Set To Music: 18. Set By Mr. Smith
Since we your husband daily see
So jealous out of season,
Phillis, let you and I agree
To make him so with reason.
I'm vex'd to think that every night
A sot, within thy arms,
Tasting the most divine delight,
Should sully all your charms.
While, fretting, I must lie alone,
Cursing the powers divine,
That undeservedly have thrown
A pearl unto a swine.
Then, Phillis, heal my wounded heart,
My burning passion cool;
Let me at least in thee have part
With thy insipid fool.

Aluu 4
When the mist is gone,
And the stitches finished,
But wounds not healed,
My sub-conscious, painting the scene
As I quiver in fear
Of the human race.
Wake me!
Eyes flash, back
That unfolded october cold finger,
Poking my nerves.
Eyes stare in disbelief,
And a Jaw sagging beneath,
My reach
I raised my voice,
Half-crying, half-cursing,
Murderers!
Beasts!
Shocked beyond the ordinary.
Out of my solitude,
Rode my voice, on echoes

Sad Goddess
Sad goddess sit
upon your
throne of night
Gaze into your
darkened crystal
See the ships
that touch the sun
the slice of life
the rape of beauty
Fair maiden watch
from on your
pedestal of
starlight
Fall the watchers
from dead waters
froth of madness
tear asunder

Black Wings
========================
Wings as black as midnight
=My misunderstood angel=
Tears running down his cheeks
=My sad angel=
Eyes red and raw with emotion
=My loving angel=
Clothes torn, covered with dirt
=My mistreated angel=
Down on his knees
=My poor angel=
Blood running down his arms
=My hurting angel=
Cursing every god he knows
=My angry angel=
Cutting away all his sin
=My bloody angel=
Bringing razor to skin
=I love him so much=
Over and over again

Dear Goodfew, Regarding the Poems I Sent
Don't worry about reading them.
If good enough they will keep.
If bad they will linger like old garbage
placed outside a neighbor's door
in the middle of the night only to
wrap tightly around when opening
a morning door to leave for work,
pushed back, turned off, sour,
5 flights of breathless descent
cursing the occupant in 5A.
The front door slams behind.
Stepping into sunlight and shadow
the day is won, has worn away the
mal-odors of morning. Burn now
instead to live, to leave a strong
rot when put out a lover's door
because of laziness,
a partial rejection hung upon a knob.

I Have Survived
I am scared you might see the scars; I try so hard to hide
Caused by the ones murdered me, drove me
By cursing, swearing
Haven't always been scared, reserved
They killed me, but now I'm alive
They hurt me, wounded me
But I survived
How is it possible to breath
When you already died?
But now I'm concerned
Even though the hate has died
It bones still linger on my mind
Its ghost still haunts me in the night
But it's alright, I can fight
Because I survived
Haven't always be scared to trust
Life is a game of Russian roulette but

No Other Way to Escape
I made my peace,
With that beast I hid!
I could not keep a self hate
That choked me.
I had to awaken...
And I'm glad I did!
My 'spirit' was endangered...
It was me who I feared.
I could not release the anger,
Others came to share.
I kept their despair part of my fate!
Entrapped and caged...
I was unaware!
I roared with denial,
Refusing to be freed!
Refusing to hear...
And refusing to see!
Cursing my own shadow
In rehearsed inflicting pain!
I made peace,

She Said There is No Hell
She stoically said there is no hell
Her irascible temper flaring
From her arrogant lips one can tell
A shallowness of heart appearing.
One so exalted and blessed by God
Would defiantly deny Divine Justice
Who has a place for the good and the bad
For the Book of Luke had mentioned this.
It is sad that a master of the human law
Has diligently read all the legal books
How can one judge when she does not know
That in the Bible she has failed to look?
From her cursing and foul language in court
To her lack of compassion and due respect
The lady judge lets her rage come forth
From one who denies hell, what can we expect?
