Quotes about tango, page 9

Resurrection of Desire

I was abandoned
By desire
Sure the subcutaneous rumble
Continued its silent tango
With the subterranean ache
But desire in her true glory
Overt and unashamed
Deserted me
Surmising I guess
That I deserved her mercy
Less than I did before
Even less

G-d should forgive me
I wrote
For the failures
Of my daily resurrection
And of my poems of praise
G-d will not forgive me
According to your note:

Sweet Music

Hear the choir
On the wind.
Soothe you
Like a rolling cloud.
Background,
To the migrant crowd
On the wing.
Sweet music
Echoes in everything.

Sunlight dancing
On blue bay.
Hula hula
Palm trees sway.
Garlands
Of a tuneful sky.
Spill their scented notes
On high.
Dripping into
Orchestras of the ocean.

Delivering The 'Jabs

My dislike for backstabbers,
Developed many years ago...
When I began to notice,
How easily they were able to do this.
With the use of their lips unseen,
Delivering the 'jabs'.

And...
Had the ability to pretend,
Not to be involved in the process.
While attempting to play innocent.

As they strategically moved,
Back and forth...
From both sides of a picket fence.
Like someone too familiar with doing a tango.
So no one would be aware of steps out of place.
Or the hopping of a fence done.

A Heart So Hollow

Oh how graced I must be to walk the hallowed halls
of that thing you call a heart.
A cold draft follows me out, for even the air is stale
and needs an escape.
Who knew one could contain so deep a chasm in one's chest.
A canyon for the viewing of passerby.
So hollow, the rhythmic beating resounds in ears miles away.
A drum of warning, come no closer,
for you might fall in. In fact, you may never hit bottom.
A free fall that comes with a price.

How proud you must be, for you are certainly one of a kind.

Hope For The Lost Soul

The yellow smile of dawn has broken
Over the land of shadows
And every soul touched by the hallowed
Voice of Heaven spoken
Fear not for soon I'll come for you
Fear not what that day brings
You shall be wrapped in angels' wings
And flown to skies so blue
With nothing left to do but wait
I sit and ponder time
And what it means that a soul like mine
Could pass through golden gates
Tarnished, torn, and twisted ‘round
But recognized by some
As a perfectly imperfect human
Lost soul waiting to be found

Romance and Dance

Two tortoise were romantically talking,
not on all fours, but on their back feet.
Music came from the kitchen window
and they began dancing cheek to cheek.

They looked incredibly in love and happy
whilst in the vegetable patch they danced.
They stopped for a nibble on fresh lettuce
and then resumed their fine romance.

He said that she was such a lovely dancer,
and she replied that she was easily led.
He asked if she would like to dance a tango,
and she said, “Yes, but in the flower bed.”

Reunion (Love Story 10)

And love prevailed
as it stood even stronger
after the lambast of tests
when family was put to risk
and marriage almost suffered

When two hearts are soul mates
they are destined to converge to last
though amidst the dwindling ordeals
one partner about to quit the struggle
yet the other held and compromised

Couple supplements each other
Thus, it complete the two to tango
the dance is performed as music plays
love, marriage and family are made whole
In the end you and I reunited for love so true

Copulation

Young and old by the storm of the heart,
And with the attractions of the forest to swing the muse;
But she has the most wonderful breasts and body.

Relationship needs behaviour and like your own tea cup,
But do examine yourself before you tango!
And do not be ashame of yourself when you have to learn.

Copulation,
To love me deep like my pituitary;
And with the shows of the exhibitions of your sweet heart.

You are so beautiful by all standards and,
Lovable as the moon!
But try to have the notes of love and to learn the rules.

Unconscious Partnered Relationship

Entangled to strangle.
As if a tango of 'wills'
Is wished to prance,
In some dramatic heated dance.

No part of this do I wish.
To join in an unconscious...
Partnered relationship.

Clever rhythmic twists,
To involve with ongoing conflicts...
Gone unsolved.
Will not blind a purpose...
Refusing this kind of mix.

'Avoid this invitation.
Snap out of it quick! '

A voice inside of me insists.
And listening intently,

Cut

Quick silver interlude
Of a sound too sharp for me knots
Will cut this Gordian cut this Gordian
Bloom rising from the ashes
Feels like cutting a lock of smoke
Dying on a bit of hair
Just to foot loose on the wired walk
Little flameless dresses ticking in
Accordion sounds cut this Gordian
Cut this Gordian for a tango no touch
It gives this step cut severed transfused
Into the world pale Moon shade
Eating its little moons
In a mice labyrinth of a cheese
It's got to be quick
It's got to be silver
And it's got to be saberless
Interlude
Cut
