Quotes about lasted, page 15
The Old Year
IT PASSED like the breath of the night-wind away,
It fled like a mist at the dawn of the day;
It lasted its moment, then backward was hurled,
Another increase to the age of the world.
It passed with its shadows, its smiles and its tears,
It passed as a stream to the ocean of years;
Years that were coming—were here—and are o’er,
The ages departed to visit no more.
It passed, but the bark on its billowy track
Leaves an impression on waters aback:
The glow of the gloaming remains on the sky,
Unwilling to leave us—unwilling to die.
It fled; but away and away in its wake
There lingers a something that time cannot break.
The past and the future are joined by a chain,
And memories live that must ever remain.

A Charming Introduction
This was talking of a charming introduction to a vile life,
Impassable roads honoured this vile life of a hermit.
A scoundrel betraying his friends, he fetched the medicine,
Happy medicine was never happening to anybody.
The doctor collapsed forcefully by the drugs he ingested,
This drug poisoned the hermit as well, a wellness seemed able.
The marriage of these two inspired both leaders and citizens
As the hermit and doctor were at fierce odds with each other.
To make a fortune was significant to the brain and mind,
The mind contained light, and the brain consisted of darkness;
Cheerfully, the misery lasted, for the desires and lusts concentrated,
Later this meant misery was at an end, absent in the extreme.

No Football
When we first met we didn't,
it wasn't on the menu.
Of course it had me curious
I gave it much attention.
In April we indulged,
we were so very proud,
bouncing on the sofa
we did it in the lounge!
Later, in July
there was a time, I think
when we hit all the high notes
a few times by the sink.
In Autumn he got lazy
all this just had him spent
so I baked him pastries
and he ate those instead.

Much too Long!
I dont care what they say, with those rumours
I know its been much to long...
Its been much to long since Ive seen you
I wish I love would of lasted
I dont care what they say, your so long gone..
No one can take away the memories in our hearts
Yes we were much to young....... I dont care what they say..
Sometimes hearts belong...
I dream about you everyday, wondering what went wrong?
I dont care what they say, with those rumours
I know its been much to long...
I thought my heart would drift away and a new love would belong..
I dont care what they say, your so long gone..
No one can take away the memories in our hearts

from A Fallen Tree All Make Kindling' (dutch Proverb)
Whenever I sit under a tree I’m in my grandpas arms
My grandpa was like a tree with his strong and silent charm
He would shelter the world under his shade
And in the harshest storm he just merely swayed
He was like a tree but not the ones with big flowers
For his beauty was endurance it lasted more than mere hours
My grandpa was a tree the kind with big leaves
The kind that when cut down the whole forest grieves
He was like a tree big and gentle
He sat there and listened kind and parental

A Straphanger's Pilgrimage
Yet I remember what you said as a secret my poor Mom; 'Your delivery was very painful and it's like a Tug of War.
The placenta almost wrapped around your neck and the awful cry lasted a long.'
Yes Mom! Since then still I am crying, but nobody listens as it's an inner cry.
Thanks, You have taken me to a specialist doctor on several occasions in the past.
But his magical stethoscope failed to read my rare palpitation.
I realize the distance between us and now you are far away.
I am sorry Mom for your prodigal Son's curiosity,
Still I hold your knitted facecloth as a keepsake
And I step down and walk towards the sad withdrawal of your stranglehold.
* The pilloried who acts hastily on the ridiculous stage of the Life-Drama.

You fled new
There is a world out there, forged,
dimensions wangled, time stupefied;
becalm pace, as our memories lied,
- September rain on ground bogged;
Contemplative solitude, on dialogue
that kept you yon, merit of sacred,
odes emitted a sadness that lasted,
- an ulterior rain reflecting your fog;
Years maintained a notable reason,
our disruptive, steady, typified stills;
twas our celebrating runs on hills,
- crazy kids I recall, a Fall season.
Our laughs climbed on white clouds,
thoughts danced on winds' upheaval,
kind your staring on feasts primeval,
- where sun rays erased our doubts.

A baby's nostalgia
How rich and great the time when mother's love transformed
Me from a mere word 'baby' in her mind into a piece of flesh
That breathed of the eternal childly in her lap.
Unable to communicate in my pre-birth language
Despite my knowledge of wise words, I concentrated on
This 'Now' and dumbly let mother's words fill my infant's
Ears until the universal mother tongue 'mum, maa, muum'-
Meaning'I'm the baby you used to be', ripened in my ears.
My first earthly word which was already old when she
Was young, aroused in her a sublime state of nostalgia
And gave her a life time in an instant, 'now and here'.
A mortal moment that aught to have lasted for ever,
Had come and gone before I knew and I strive
To keep it alive in me as a session of the infinite.

The Dragon and The Tiger
I can be seen as a Legendary Dragon,
A mythical creature known to the world.
some see me sleeping silently
but beware if you step on my territory
Most of you think I'm heartless,
Maybe sometimes, I am.
but most of a time I'm a lover
I protect everyone I like..
But the problem is this dragon,
shy, likes waiting and doesn't wanna try
waiting for destiny to do its work
so most of his chances passes by.
There is this girl who can be seen as a Tiger
Fearless creature, and wants take over.
not the typical kind of girl I like,
Amazed by her Taiga-ness, oh Im in LOVE!

The Life of a Flower
As the snow melts with upmost intensity
Out of the white field under the blues sky a green spot rises
The rise of a legacy of a summer, a legacy of blooms
The sun rises and white is no more
White once now is green, green signs of life
Life that will live for a summer time, summer that never ends
From green to yellow, yellow that perfects the view
